Meet Kim
Before working in real estate, Kim Kling was a travel agent for 10 years. In 1999, she began her real estate career as an assistant, working for multiple top agents and the top broker in the country. She got her real estate license in 2004, and enjoys the opportunities in the industry to make an impact in the lives of her clients.
Kim works out of John L. Scott’s Coeur d'Alene office. Kim understand the stress involved in a move, and works with sellers to try to reduce anxiety as much as possible. Kim aims to guide clients through each transaction to ensure it goes as smoothly as possible. Some areas Kim commonly works in are Coeur d'Alene, Hayden, Rathdrum, Post Falls, Sandpoint, Careywood, Spirit Lake, Athol and Sagle, among others.
Every day in real estate is different – and that’s what makes it such a great fit for Kim. She enjoys meeting new people in each transaction and finds great satisfaction when she is able to help match clients with the right home.
Kim is involved in her community. She is a member of the CdA Assoc. of Realtors Community Action Group, which helps out various causes including the local food bank and childrens programs. For the last few years, Kim and her husband have helped raise funds for the local Childrens Village which helps kids that are either displaced or in crisis situations.
There’s no other place Kim would rather call home than Idaho – she loves the many opportunities around Coeur d'Alene to go hiking, camping, rafting, skiing and partake in other outdoor activities. For Kim, spending time with her family is the most important thing she does.
Coeur d'Alene
Many Pacific Northwesteners have visited Coeur d’Alene in the summer for the fantastic water activites on Lake Coeur d’Alene, or in the winter for skiing at nearby resorts. But those who live here know that the beauty of the city and its surroundings lasts year round, as does the friendly spirit of the people. Located on the Idaho panhandle, not far from both Spokane, Washington, and Sandpoint, Idaho, Coeur d’Alene is a vacation destination, but it’s also a growing city with an ever increasing number of full-time residents. The city itself sits on the shore of the Lake of the same name, and both are surrounded by the Coeur d’Alene National forest, a beautiful evergreen paradise that spans more than 1,100 miles and three Idaho Counties. Coeur d’Alene is a prime location for outdoor lovers. The lake provides boating, kayaking, swimming, water skiing, and even lodging. That’s right, visitors can rent house boats or pontoons that are both cozy and luxurious. The Coeur d’Alene resort is a favorite destination, and is home to one of the United States’ finest golf courses. The 14th hole is especially unique—the green is on a moving, floating platform—the only one in the US. Winter sports are a popular attraction in Coeur d’Alene as well. Skiing and snowboarding at world-class resorts are just minutes away. And with our wet, cold winters, fresh powder is common! Homes in Coeur d’Alene range from houseboats and condos on the Lake to cabins in the woods and single-family homes in friendly neighborhoods. If you’d like to learn more about Coeur d’Alene, let us know. We’d love to show you around and help you find your perfect home.
Reviews
Our home search was made so much easier with Kim Kling as our realtor. In a sellers market, buying is stressful. Kim stayed the course and found us our perfect home. Kim was patient and ALWAYS willing to go the extra mile for us. Can't thank her enough for her professionalism and attention to our every need.

“We want to thank Kim Kling for all her hard work in getting our house sold. By encouraging us through the ups and downs of four sales of our home (for lack of buyer financing, even though approved), and then the struggles to help us with the final purchase here. We highly recommend Kim to help you with the purchase and/or sale of your home. Buying and selling is a challenge, but she will get you through it with a positive outlook on the experience. Thank you so much for everything you have done Kim!!!”
